Qasr-e Shirin (IP)- Iran reopened the Khosravi border crossing, which was temporarily closed, as peace returned to Iraqi cities.

Iran Press/Iran news: More than twenty-five thousand Arba'een pilgrims have entered Iraq through the border crossing over the past few days.

Meanwhile, Visiting the Mehran International Border on Thursday, Head of the office of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Vaezi said, "All facilities at the border terminal are provided for Arbaeen pilgrims."

The Khosravi border is particularly important because of its proximity to Karbala, and huge number of pilgrims travel through this border to take part in the Arbaeen Trek.

According to officials in Kermanshah province, Khosravi border with 56 entrance and exit gates, ample parking and 160 Mukeb, is ready to accommodate Arba'een Trek pilgrims.205/219
