Former deputy of FM in Middle East Affairs

Former Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs and special aide to Iran's Parliament Speaker believes that Turkish army operation in Northern Syria further complicates the situation in the region.

Iran Press/Iran news: Special aide to Iran's Parliament Speaker in International affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that the operation of Turkish forces also makes worsen security in the region. 

Senior advisor on foreign policy said that the "Solutions to border security is mutually honoring territorial integrity, negotiations, and agreement." 

He added, "consequences of the military campaign are crisis intensification, a new wave of refugees and terrorism surge." 

The Turkish Defense Ministry announced early on Tuesday that preparations for a military operation in northern Syria are complete.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says it is necessary to purge the YPG from the region so that Turkey can create a safe zone where it will relocate millions of refugees. 205/219
