Tehran (IP)- Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman warned the enemies not to be covetous on Iraq.

Iran press/Iran news: Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Sunday in an exclusive interview with Iran press news agency that the great nation and government of Iraq are wise enough to remember that they have passed through such crises before and they know that they could overcome events through  unity, understanding and fellow feeling among the different political parties and groups.

Talking about the recent unrest in Iraq, Iran's top diplomat said: "Regardless of the origin of such events or whether it is internal or external what really matters here is that Iraq will pass this process victoriously and successfully."

Mousavi went on to highlight that the great nation and the government of Iran stand by the great nation and the government of Iraq.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman also warned that the foreigners would better not coveting the latest developments in Iraq for they {the Iraqis) have their own demands which have been heard by their governments and the officials are trying to meet their needs as soon as possible. So the enemies should know that any interference in Iraqi affairs would get them no where.

Elsewhere Mousavi expressed hope that the present unrest would be over in some of the Iraqi cities.

"I am sure that after Arbaeen trek which serves as the symbol of unity and the glory of the Islamic Umma, as well as in Shi'a world,  all of these problems would be solved," concluded Mousavi.
