A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hit Iran's northern province of Golestan in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Iran Press/Iran News: The epicentre of the quake was 9 kilometres from the town of Nowkandeh, according to Iran's institute of geophysics, which said it struck at a depth of 4 kilometres.

There were no immediate reports on casualties or damage as a result of the earthquake, Iran Press reported. 101/211
