IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri: Missiles are our red line

IRGC Navy Commander has warned against any attempt to negotiate Ian's missile power and said the country won't allow anyone to weaken its defense capability; missiles are one of Iran's defense tools, the red line for us and we will improve it on daily basis.

Iran Press/Iran news: Rear-Admiral Alireza Tangsiri told the reports that we are planning to cooperate with our regional allies and "Our navy had relief and rescue drills with Oman and IRGC navy participated as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy".

According to the Iran Press, the Iranian General went on saying that in his interview with German reporters, he stressed that sustained security and stability can only be provided through cooperation among regional countries and the presence of foreign forces makes no sense in this regard.  

"This year, we will hold combined exercises with the navy forces of Iraq and Oman and we have sent a message to Qatar and told them that they can also participate in the drills," he said.

Asked about the expand the Iranian Navy's operational scope to Oman sea, Tangsiri added that "as the leader of the Islamic Revolution has advised, the Navy force is a strategic one and there is no obstacle to expand of our presence in the seas."  

"So, we can expand our presence beyond our shores and to the international waters," he said, adding that "according to international laws, up to12 nautical miles is considered as the territorial sea and we can increase our forces and naval flotilla in this scope."
