The US Census Bureau on Armed Violence reported that 99 people have been killed and wounded in gunshots in the past 24 hours.

Iran Press/America: The US Census Bureau of Armed Violence reported on Sunday that 99 shootings have taken place across the United States over the past 24 hours, killing 25 and injuring 74.

Most of these shootings occurred in the states of Nebraska, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Texas, Maryland, North Carolina, Illinois, California, and Florida, according to the report.

America is facing a wave of violence, hostage-taking, and armed attacks, and the US President Donald Trump is one of the supporters of the gun lobby.

At the beginning of his presidency, Trump told gun owners in the United States, "The eight-year-old assault on the rights of American gun owners is over, and now they have a real supporter in the White House."

Every year thousands of people lose their lives or get wounded by gunshot attacks. Based on official statistics there are around 270 to 300 million guns in the US, that is almost one gun for every American.
