Iran gasoline exporter from July 2019

The managing director of Iran's Energy Exchange (IRENEX) has said the country has reached self-sufficiency in production of gasoline, and from July 2019 we are actually exporting gasoline following the completion of the third phase of Persian Gulf Star Refinery.

Iran Press/Iran news: The managing Director of Iran's Energy Exchange (IRENEX) Seyyed Ali Hosseini said Iran has reached self-sufficiency in gasoline production and exporting gasoline would be possible through the international ring of Energy Exchange.

Hosseini also added through the pre-arranged plans regarding the 6th developmental program, Iran's ministry of oil would be obliged to supply the IRENEX with crude oil and related oil-based products.

Iran's IRENEX officials also said that there has been some decision making in the process through the recent constructive MOU between Iran's ministry of oil and National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company over the gasoline supply.

Referring to Iran's gasoline export, Hosseini expressed hope that regarding the completion of the third phase of Persian Gulf Star Refinery, in July, Iran will be able to export its gasoline through the export ring.
