Alireza Firouzja, Iranian teenager gains Super Master title

For the first time in Iran's chess history, a teenager managed to reach a rating of 2700 and be called with Super-Master epithet.

 

Iran Press/Iran news: With the 13th round of Turkey's chess super league held on Monday, Alireza Firouzja succeeded to win the title of Iran's chess super-master.

Live rating for Alireza Firouzja reached 2700 so that he could manage to win the very title in Iran's chess-playing, Iran Press reported.

This is for the first time in Iran's chess history that a chess player has reached a rating of 2700. Few have succeeded in the chess-playing sphere to reach this level. 207/215/205
