With the opening of the most advanced radar system of the world in Kushk-e-Bazm, Iran is set to become a radar exporter.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's minister of road and urban development, Mohammad Eslami said that Iran is becoming a manufacturer and an exporter of advanced Radar Systems in the world.

Eslami who was speaking in the inauguration ceremony of TMA Radar of Iran Air Terminal, pointed to manpower resources and capabilities of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company and knowledge-based companies and said: "One of our priorities is to upgrade our air traffic control systems to  world standards, making them up-to-date, and also to purchase state-of-the-art equipment to increase the accuracy of guiding flights."

The road and urban development minister added: "By installing this advanced radar system, northern Iran and Tehran area will be fully covered by Radar, and all flights in this region will be fully under control."

Emphasising that Iran is a developed country in terms of human resources, Eslami said: "by using our human resources, air navigation systems, and knowledge-based companies, we could plan to manufacture and export advanced radar systems."

The Kushk-e-Bazm Radar TMA is one of the most advanced Radar systems of the world and only the second Radar TMA system to be operating in the Middle East, with the first one being in Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.
