Iranian Foreign Minister met Germany visiting Foreign Minister Heiko Maas on Monday morning in Iran' foreign ministry in Tehran to discussed the ways to preserve the 2015 nuclear deal, INSTEX and other developments.

Iran Press/Iran news: Germany's Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif on Monday held talks on bilateral relations and latest developments about the nuclear deal.

The German top diplomat is visiting Iran in the wake of Iranian complaints that the EU partners failed to honor their commitments to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the Iranian 60-day deadline to the states parties to the JCPOA to fix the banking and trade ties, Iran Press reported.

Tehran on the first anniversary of the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal said that it reduces its commitments to the deal due to the inaction of Europe in delivering its pledges on covering the imposed damages.

The German foreign minister will hold a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart.
