Iran Press / Iran News: A Damascus university professor, Wael Al Imam, on the sideline of International Association of Muslim Social Science gathering in Tehran said: "In fact this conference is very important because we are trying to search the roots of terrorism in Arab-speaking countries and try to reach some accepted definition of terrorism."
He made the remarks on Saturday in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency.
Wael Al Imam added: "Some newspapers try to give the language and the definition of terrorism."
He said, in this conference, we also try to discuss how (terrorist) attacks happen, we try to find out how West uses the concept of terror to attack Islam. One of the results of the terror concept is the creation of ISIS, and al-Nusra Front terrorist group.
