Iran Press/ Asia: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said during the meeting that China and India should resolve their border issues through dialogue and consultation because the common interests of the two countries outweigh their differences.
Wang spoke during a meeting with Pradeep Kumar Rawat, India's new ambassador to China, according to a statement issued by China's foreign ministry.
A few weeks ago, the Indian Foreign Ministry issued a statement announcing the holding of the 24th Indo-China Border Advisory and Coordination Planning Meeting (WMCC).
Six months later, India and China held diplomatic talks on the border deadlock east of Ladak and agreed to continue talks to resolve the remaining issues at the earliest opportunity until the border issue is normalized in bilateral relations. 219
