IP - China's foreign minister, in response to the negative vote of the United States in the Security Council meeting, again demanded full membership of Palestine in the United Nations. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said about the United States' veto of Palestine's full membership in the United Nations: "The immediate admission of Palestine to the United Nations is a measure to correct a long-term historical injustice."

These statements of the Chinese Foreign Minister were made after the United States voted against the Security Council resolution on the recognition of Palestine on Thursday night.

The Hamas movement strongly condemned this US action and emphasized that Washington has once again proved that it is against the Palestinian people.

After the veto of this resolution, the representative of Russia in the United Nations said that the absolute majority of the world community agrees with Palestine's membership in the United Nations and said: "With this veto, America showed that it only recognizes the interests of Israel."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar also deeply regretted the "failure" of the UN Security Council to approve this resolution, saying that it considers it a "sad day for justice and the withdrawal of efforts to establish peace in the region". 204
