Iran PressIran News:  According to Iran Press News Agency, the event took place this afternoon at the association's headquarters, recognizing notable figures in Iranian medicine, including professors Taghi Najabat and Alireza Zali.

The ceremony also paid tribute to the families of physician martyrs.

Hakim Abubakr Rabee' bin Ahmad Akhawyni Bokhari, a physician from the 4th century AH, is celebrated as one of the earliest Persian medical writers and surgeons. His Persian medical guide, "Hedayat al-Muta'allimin fi al-Tibb," was composed even before the "Shahnameh" (Book of Kings).

This work holds significant medical value and is also important for understanding literature and Middle Persian writing of the 4th century.

The invaluable book has been published with the efforts of Mojtaba Minavi and Jalal Matini at Ferdowsi University in Mashhad.

During the ceremony, Gholamali Haddad-Adel, president of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, emphasized the deep-rooted scientific and cultural civilization of Iran, highlighting that many Iranian physicians have gained international acclaim for their contributions to medicine.
