Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister says the brilliant path of Rais Ali-Delvari will be firmly and strongly followed.

Iran PressIran news: Today (Sunday), September 3, 2023, is the anniversary of the martyrdom of Rais-Ali Delvari, the great leader of the anti-colonial struggle in southern Iran. The day is named the national day against British colonialism.

Rais-Ali Delvari (1882-1915) was a freedom seeker person and the leader of the uprising in the south of Iran in Tangestan County in Bushehr province against the invading and colonizing forces of Britain in the First World War.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, stated today (Sunday) on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Rais-Ali Delvari and the national day against British Colonialism, that insight, perseverance, and persistence in the path of knowing the truth were the most prominent characteristics of Rais-Ali Delvari.

Amir-Abdollahian appreciated Rais-Ali Delvari for his deeds and termed him a hero with religious insight and patriotism, who carried the flag of struggle and anti-occupation against the aggressor England.   

"I am sure that this struggle (encounter with colonialism) will never be erased from the minds and memory of the Iranian nation, and of course, the brilliant path of this great martyr (Rais-Ali Delvari) will be followed with firmness and strength," added the Iranian Foreign Minister.
