On Thursday, July 20, for the second time in the last few weeks, Salwan Momika, an Iraqi-Swedish citizen, insulted the Holy Quran with the support of the Swedish police. A violent action that brought about the reaction of Islamic countries. Iran's Ministry of Intelligence unveiled the connection between the Israeli spy agency (Mossad) and Salwan Momika, the desecrator of the Holy Quran in Sweden, on July 10.
Islamic countries, while condemning the desecration of the Holy Qur'an, summoned the Swedish ambassadors in protest.
Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that this action in Sweden is a violation of international principles, conventions and laws, including the Human Rights Council resolution, which condemns any appeal to religious hatred, and it is on its own rights an incitement to racism, enmity and violence.
The UAE also summoned the charge d'affaires of the Swedish embassy in this country on Friday night to inform Abu Dhabi's letter of protest for issuing a license to insult the Holy Quran in Stockholm.
Also, the charge d'affaires of the Swedish Embassy was summoned to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry to protest against the Holy Quran's desecration.
Following the insult to the Holy Quran in Sweden and Denmark, a virtual emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is scheduled to be held next Monday. 219
