Iran Press/Iran news: In a telephone call with Josep Borrell High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy , Ali Bagheri discussed the consequences of the terrorist act of the Zionist regime in the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the Chief of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, and the political and security consequences of this great crime in violating the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and violating regional stability.

Bagheri emphasized that this action of some European countries, as well as their silence regarding the Zionist war-mongering approach in Yemen and Lebanon, has encouraged this regime to continue its aggressive actions, which will lead to jeopardizing peace and stability in the region.
Josep Borrell , High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy , also stressed the legitimate right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to defend its territorial integrity and territorial sovereignty, and expressed concern about the escalating tension and the formation of a full-scale war in the region and its impacts and consequences for the people of the region.
