Iran PressAsia: Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Thursday evening, referring to the continuation of Pakistan's efforts to defuse tensions in the region, warned that the ill-wishers of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia are trying to escalate the conflict.

This is the situation we are witnessing today in Syria, Somalia, Libya and Afghanistan.

Referring to Pakistan's close ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran and Islamabad's interactions with Saudi Arabia, the Pakistani prime minister added that Saudi Arabia seeks to defuse tensions and resolve disputes in the region.

Imran Khan also pointed out that the disruptors and some actors are not in favor of improving relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
