Iran PressAsia: North Korea has announced that it has cut off all communications with South Korea, confirming the explosion of the two Koreas' communications office on the border between the two countries, Sputnik news agency reported.

North Korea has confirmed that it has officially severed all diplomatic ties with Seoul.

Hours ago, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported a terrible explosion in the civilian border area between the two Koreas. The bomber struck near the Kaesong industrial complex near the North Korean border.

North Korea has warned its southern neighbor in recent days that it will close its liaison office with Seoul if it does not block the distribution of brochures against Pyongyang.

Earlier, the North Korean military said in a statement that it was ready to send troops to the border areas devoid of US weapons with South Korea.

Tensions between the two Koreas seem to have returned to its climax again after two years of decreasing trend.
