Iran Press/Asia: Saeed Kharazi, met with Kyrgyz Economy Minister Sanjar Mukanbetov on Tuesday and expressed hope that trade between Iran and Kyrgyzstan, which had been halted in the past two months due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, would be resumed soon.
For his part, the Kyrgyz Minister of Economy stressed the importance of expanding relations between the two countries and thanked Iran for its humanitarian aid sent to Kyrgyzstan in the fight against Coronavirus.
Mukanbetov also expressed Kyrgyzstan's interest in expanding cooperation with Iranian companies in various fields.
The two sides also stressed the formation of a committee to follow up on the agreements of the 12th Joint Economic Commission between Iran and Kyrgyzstan.
