Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's electricity industry has reached almost self-sufficiency in meeting its needs in the hardware and software sector, and in addition to supplying electricity to the country, it also exports electricity to some neighboring countries.
Arian 2 combined cycle power plant was built by the experts of the private sector of Iran without the need for foreign knowledge and technology, and includes 2 gas units with the capacity of producing 366 megawatts of electricity and one steam unit of 180 megawatts.
The steam unit of this huge national power plant will be put into operation next year.
With the full exploitation of the Arian 2 combined cycle power plant in Zanjan, sustainable employment will be created for 240 people directly and indirectly.
On Thursday October 27, 2022, "Ebrahim Raisi", the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, visited various parts of the huge national plan of the Arian 2 combined cycle power plant in Zanjan.
