Kamand Sufi Abadi from Tehran to attend 2019 Brain Bee World Championship in South Korea

A high school girl was selected as Iran's representative to attend the international 'Brain Bee' competitions in South Korea.

Iran PressIran news: At the end of the 5th round of national 'Brain Bee' competition, Mrs. Kamand Sufi Abadi was chosen as Iran's representative to attend the 2019 Brain Bee World Championship in South Korea.

The competitions held with the attendance of over 3,000 high school students in Iran University of Medical Sciences on Saturday.

The 2019 Brain Bee World Championship will be held in conjunction with the 10th IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience on September 20 and 21 in Daegu, South Korea.

"The primary goal of the International Brain Bee (IBB) is to motivate students to learn about the brain and to inspire them to pursue careers in neuroscience so that they can help treat and find cures for brain disorders," according to IBB website.

"The Brain Bee was founded by Dr. Norbert Myslinski at the University of Maryland in the United States as a neuroscience competition for high school students," it added.
