Tehran (IP)- Iran’s Foreign Minister held a separate phone conversation with Ismail Haniyeh, chief of the political bureau of Hamas, and Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Albusaidi on Saturday and discussed the current developments in Gaza.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press, Ismail Haniyeh and Amir-Abdollahian discussed the latest developments related to the aggression of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip.

According to this report, the two sides also discussed how to use all methods to stop the crimes of the Zionist enemy in Gaza.

Foreign ministers of Iran and Oman discuss the latest in Gaza

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a phone conversation with Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Albusaidi on Sunday and discussed the current developments in Palestine.

During the talks, both sides stressed a solution should emerge to immediately stop the carnage of Palestinian people, especially women and children, lift the siege on the Strip, and deliver humanitarian aid including fuel, food, medicine, and medical equipment to Gaza.

They also voiced their firm opposition to the policy of forced displacement of the Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip.

The ministers also exchanged views on coordinating the efforts and actions on the part of Islamic countries to help the Palestinian people.

Iran, Luxembourg's top diplomats emphasize Gaza disaster should end

Iran's top diplomat Hossein Amir-Abdollahian spoke on the phone on Sunday evening with his counterpart from Luxembourg Jean Asselborn about bilateral ties and the recent developments in the region, especially the complicated humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the Zionist regime’s crimes against the defenseless Palestinian people.

Citing the Luxembourg foreign minister’s long experience in diplomatic affairs during the talks, the Iranian foreign minister said the bilateral relations between the two countries need to be expanded and developed and that consultations have to continue.

Amir-Abdollahian also pointed to the war crimes committed by the Zionist regime and the humanitarian disaster in Gaza following Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s extremist moves that led to the martyrdom of women and children.

For his part, Asselborn said he was aware of the chaotic situation in Gaza and added, “We hope that the tensions will come to an end as soon as possible and political solutions will be given priority.”

The Luxembourg foreign minister noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s constructive and active role can always help establish peace and restore calm in the region.
