A police car was set on fire in front of the Supreme Court building following the nationwide protests against US police violence.

Iran PressAmerica: A spokesman for the US Supreme Court told Reuters that a car without a police logo was set on fire in front of the US Supreme Court on Wednesday, July 15th, and another car belonging to the court was damaged in the fire.

The man who set the car on fire was injured and taken to hospital, police told the court.

Following the May 25 assassination of George Floyd, a black American citizen by racist police in Minneapolis, Minnesota, nationwide protests began in the United States and around the world condemning the racist behavior of the American police.  207/219
