Iran Press/ Iran news: Artificial intelligence, which is also called AI, is a technology that can think. Of course, the ability to think is very different from what we know as human thinking, but in fact, it tries to imitate it.
Iman Karimi, the secretary of Iran's annual artificial intelligence award, about the importance of "artificial intelligence," noted: "Today it seems that artificial intelligence has reached the status of nuclear technology and the countries that gain the knowledge can shape the future of the world."
The head of the Strategic Technology Development Center of the Vice President for Science and Technology, Shaghayegh Haghgoo, also said: "1,200 people registered for the event and 800 of them have been trained."
Referring to the complexities of the human brain, she added that artificial intelligence can revolutionize other sciences as well.
Seyyed Mohammad Mahdavi, Secretary of the Development Staff of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies, also said that artificial intelligence can help diagnose cognitive disorders and treat them in the first stages. It is expected that the knowledge will create tremendous changes in teaching and learning in the next 5 to 7 years.
