Iran Press/Asia: Pakistan's Defense Minister said that Pakistan and Iran have cordial and brotherly relations rooted in centuries-old religious and cultural ties. He reiterated Pakistan's stand on the Palestinian issue and highlighted the early success of the ceasefire in Gaza and the resolution of the Palestinian issue.
Highlighting the importance of the Joint Border Commission, the Minister said that Pakistan has taken all necessary steps regarding border management and joint efforts should continue on this matter.
On this occasion, the Iranian ambassador appreciated the defense capabilities of Pakistan and said that there are possibilities for further cooperation between the two countries in the fields of defense and energy.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation and vowed to further advance it in common interests, security enhancement, counter-terrorism, and regional economic connectivity. 204
