Islamabad (IP) - A member of the National Assembly of Pakistan said that the plan for Iran's gas pipeline to Pakistan is important for the country's government. In an exclusive interview with an Iran press reporter in Islamabad, "Sehar Kamran" emphasized the expansion of economic cooperation between Iran and Pakistan given the upcoming visit of the President of Iran to that country. The operationalization of the Iranian gas pipeline is very important for the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.

Iran Press/Asia: The representative of the National Assembly of Pakistan stated that the economic interests of Pakistan are tied to the operationalization of the gas pipeline from Iran to Pakistan.

Sehar Kamran also stated that sometimes things happen on the common borders of Iran and Pakistan, but misunderstandings can be resolved through dialogue, emphasizing that no country's soil should be used against another country and that every country has the right to protect its interests, dignity, and sovereignty.

The representative of the National Assembly of Pakistan said that Pakistan does not interfere in the internal affairs of any country and supports its brother, Islamic, and neighboring countries.
