Iran Press/ Middle East: Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said on Monday that the Coronavirus had spread from the territories occupied by the United States and Saudi Arabia to other parts of Yemen, adding that 20 million Yemenis were in need of immediate assistance.
Al-Houthi pointed to the shortage of medicine and medical equipment in Yemen, adding that the imposed siege on the Yemeni people would certainly lead to a catastrophe in the country.
Along with the dire consequences of the Saudi coalition's war against Yemen, the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the country has become Yemen's biggest challenge; because the country's hospital and health infrastructure have been destroyed or disabled.
Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, has been conducting military aggression against Yemen since March 2015 and besieging it. The war in Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed tens of thousands and displaced millions of Yemenis.
Saudi military aggression has also left the poor country of Yemen in dire need of food and medicine. 207
