Iran Press/ Middle East: On Friday night, Hossein Amir-Abdolhian met with a group of Lebanese elites and religious scholars, including the Minister of Culture and the Minister of Labor of Lebanon.
He stated that we are ready to strengthen the cooperation between Iran and Lebanon in the economic and commercial fields, including the issue of energy.
On the issue of sending fuel from Iran to Lebanon, Amir-Abdolhian also stated that agreements have been made.
He emphasized: "We are ready to send fuel to Lebanon if some of the existing obstacles are removed."
In another part of his speech in this meeting, he presented a report on the five rounds of negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and emphasized that progress has been made in the course of these talks.
Iran FM added: "We believe that this war should end as soon as possible and Yemeni-Yemeni dialogues should be established.
He also pointed to the issue of Afghanistan and condemned the recent ISIS terrorist attack in the neighboring country.
He emphasized: In our opinion, restricting Afghan women and girls from education conflicts with Islamic teachings and religious values.
Iran FM said: We believe that the solution in Afghanistan is the formation of an inclusive government with the participation of all Afghan ethnic groups.
Iran's Foreign Minister also after meeting with the Secretary General of Lebanon Hezbollah said:
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also pointed to the principled policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the Resistance of Lebanon and Palestine and said that the relations between Tehran and Beirut are at their best process.
He also stated: with the completion of the political process in Lebanon and the election of the President, we will be able to plan for President Raisi's trip to Lebanon.
