Iran Press/ Middle East: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian who met with the Lebanese political and religious groups on Friday night, reiterated, “Deprivation of women from social activities in Afghanistan is contrary to the basics of beneficent Islam.”
“We have not recognized the legitimacy of the current ruling group in Afghanistan, but in some particular cases in order to decrease the Afghans' problems we have established relations with them,” he added.
The top Iranian diplomat stressed that the way to resolve the problem in Afghanistan is the establishment of an all-encompassing government, comprised of the entire political groups there.
