West Bank (IP) - Five Palestinians, including two women, were killed in an Israeli drone attack on the Tulkarm refugee camp early Tuesday, as reported by Palestinian media.

Iran Press/West Asia: The outlets added that the Israeli forces are opening fire on ambulances, preventing them from reaching wounded Palestinians.

Palestinian Resistance groups fought side-by-side against a large number of Israeli occupation forces raiding the city and its refugee camp, detonating a series of IEDs in the invading forces and their military vehicles.

Palestinian media reported that several Israeli soldiers were wounded in one of the IED attacks targeting a military vehicle as the hours-long confrontation continued.

The media also reported that one Palestinian was wounded by three Israeli bullets and was transported to a hospital.

One Palestinian was martyred in Sair north of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank after being shot by Israeli occupation forces raiding the town.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the martyr as 33-year-old Jihad Mohammed Hussein Shalalda.

Former prisoner Raafat Zaal Shalalda was detained by the raiding Israeli forces from the town.

The Israeli occupation force requested backup due to the fierce confrontations in Tulkarm. A heavy deployment of more soldiers and military vehicles was witnessed entering the city.

Meanwhile, an Israeli bulldozer destroyed Palestinian vehicles and properties, including shops and homes, in Tulkarm city, Palestinian media also said.

The Nur Shams and Tulkarm refugee camp Brigades of the al-Quds Brigades carried out coordinated attacks against raiding Israeli forces, announcing the successful detonation of a heavy explosive device targeting Israeli military vehicles.
