Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that COVID-19 had killed 157 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 81,519.

Iran PressIran news:: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to June 09, 2021, 2,990,714 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,590,682 of the total infected people recovered.Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,598 cases, out of whom 1,557 patients were hospitalized.3,584 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 21,065,451 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 201 are orange, and 231 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,281,268 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 706,695 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 4,987,963 doses.
