One person has been found dead while three others have been wounded in separate incidents in Afghanistan's eastern Parwan province, local police said on Saturday.

Iran press/ Asia: The person was shot and killed by a Kalashnikov near his house early Saturday morning near Qala-e-Khwaja of Bagram district, 55 km north of the Afghan capital Kabul, police spokesman Mohammad Kamran Zaid said in a statement.

It added that no one has been arrested for the murder, and police started an investigation into the case.

On Friday, a man shot at and wounded three people with a powder gun in Sayed Khil district of the province.

The murderer was arrested by police and taken to the related department for investigation, the statement said.

The Afghan caretaker government has vowed to collect all weapons used illegally to ensure security all over the country, Xinhua reported.
