Iran's President is to go to New York, the US, on Sunday morning, to participate in the 79th meeting of the UN General Assembly.

Iran Press/America: Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to deliver a speech at the UNGA meeting on September 24, to express the views and stances of the Islamic Republic on various issues.

His agenda includes talks with leaders of divine religions, media directors, think tank representatives, and heads of European, Asian, and Islamic countries.

During his visit, Pezeshkian is also set to hold several meetings, including meeting with Iranian compatriots in the US. 

Pezeshkian is expected to participate in the meeting, a high-level event aimed at bringing world leaders together to forge a new international consensus on delivering a better present and safeguarding the future.

Earlier to President Pezeshkian, his Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in New York on Friday night with a delegation 

He said that this year's session is taking place at a critical time for West Asia.
