Iran Press/ Iran news: 48 people competed in 12 groups of 4, and finally, 12 made it to the semi-finals of the 'new song’ competition by performing their songs, music, and other artworks, as Sarvar Bakhti, the President of the ECO Cultural Institute watched the competion.
The votes of viewers will choose the top singer.
The judging panel of "new song” were Mohammad Reza Cheraghali, Mehrdad Hoveida, Amir Tajik, the Iranian singers and composers with Aref Hosseini, an Afghan singer.
The ceremony will be broadcast on the IFilm2 TV channel on Friday, June 12, at 8:00 PM Tehran time. Persian-speaking viewers in Afghanistan and Tajikistan can watch the last episode of the first series of the big "new song" contest.
