Tehran (IP) - The construction project of new parts of the Iranian Space Agency's (ISA) launch pads has been started in Chabahar port city of Sistan and Baluchistan province, southeastern Iran.

Iran PressIran news: The head of the Iranian Space Agency (ISA), Hassan Salarieh, traveled to Chabahar port to supervise the construction of the satellite launch base, the construction of its new buildings started today, Wednesday.

The construction of the Chabahar Launch site started in 2022, is one of the most important projects of Iran under the management of ISA.

According to the plan, in the near future, the site will be able to launch the first indigenized satellites into the Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO).
