Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking in Mashhad in northeastern Iran on Monday night, Masoumeh Ebtekar emphasized that 27 percent of all Iranian women are university graduates, which is a very high percentage.
According to an Iran Press report, Iran's vice President for Women and Family Affairs said: "Iranian women have advanced remarkably since the victory of the Islamic Revolution."
The vice president commented further by saying: "Iranian women produce a substantial proportion of science and research in this country and have contributed significantly to cutting-edge research carried out by hi-tech knowledge-based companies in this country. Also, 40 percent of all agricultural products are made by women."
A special exhibition showcasing the capabilities and achievements of Iranian women is currently on public display in the city of Mashhad.
