Iranian MPs have approved a bill to establish a financing mechanism to support Iranian manufactured products.

Iran Press/Iran news: Following the Tuesday open session of Iranian Parliament (Majlis), to review the bill 'The plan for amending the law to maximize the use of domestic products and service potential in meeting the needs of the country and strengthening them in the field of exports', the MPs approved two items of this bill.

According to Item 05 of the bill, all organizations and private sector that work with the government are obligated to consume domestic products according to an Iran Press report.

Also a system has been established for producers, manufacturers and also those who need these products (constructors) in order to presents their products and needs.

 A supervisory board including industry and intelligence commission are selected as supervisors to vote on the amount of foreign exchange a manufacturer or a company need.

Earlier in December 20Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the Islamic Republic of Iran through a sound management will be able to change sanctions into opportunity.

Also Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani called in December 17 for using the Economy of Resistance policies outlined by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to thwart the US sanctions.

The next year's budget is 12% more than the budget for the current Iranian year (21 March 2018-2019), and it would envisage a total spending of around 433 quadrillion rials ($103 billion) from various sources including taxes, divesting state-run shares and selling oil.

The developers of the bill had in mind some major points including reducing the pressure posed by US sanctions on Iranians’ lives, supplying basic goods, and paying a specific attention to domestic production and job creation.

US President Donald Trump withdrew in May from a 2015 deal in which his predecessor and five other world powers granted sanctions relief to Iran in return for a freeze on its sensitive nuclear activities.

Under the re-imposed energy sanctions, Donald Trump administration has threatened to penalize any entity that buys Iranian oil and gas. But Washington forced to give eight of Iran's biggest energy customers, among international governments, another six months to reduce Iranian energy imports to zero. 208/103
