Iranian defense minister said that today's sanctions will be shorter than the past and we can turn the threat to an opportunity.

Iran Press/Iran news: At the opening ceremony of two technical and technological exhibitions in Tehran's International Permanent Fairground, Brigadier General Amir Hatami  added, this period of sanctions will be short and the government of the Islamic Republic will proudly, supply people's need.

According to  Iran Press, Hatami added, by relying on self-esteem, all parts of the country can supply their needs and certainly we will be able to change current situation to a golden chance.

The 19th exhibition of research and technology achievements and the sixth exhibition of laboratory equipment and materials were opened on Monday by Iran's Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Mansour Gholami and Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami with the presence of knowledge-based companies' officials and domestic manufacturers.

In an address to the closing ceremony of an international congress on stem cell and regenerative medicine in Tehran on December 1, Iran's first vice president, Eshaq Jahangiri, said science and technology is thriving in Iran, despite the US sanction because it is backed by a strong will at the country's top leadership.

The Iranian official then referred to the US “brutal” sanctions against Iran and added the US is seeking to hamper Iran’s progress “but we should turn the threats into opportunities.”  101/202
