Qasemi said the shining of the female athletes in the Asian Futsal Championship in Vietnam was a clear sign of Iranian women's capabilities and success in various national and international arenas.
In the final match, the Iranian team defeated a team from Japan 5-2 to be crowned champion of Asia for the second consecutive year.
Earlier on Saturday, President Hassan Rouhani in a message congratulated the Iranian women's national futsal team on their valuable victory, saying that their championship in the global competition is another indication of the Iranian women’s capabilities, dynamism and merit.
