Iran Press/Middle East: According to Major General Saree, the codename for this operation is 'Nasr men Allah', and thousands of Saudi officers, soldiers, and military personnel have been captured as prisoners of war by the Yemeni army in the Najran operation.
In further comments, Major General Saree said: "The number of Saudi soldiers killed or injured, and the number of Saudi soldiers captured as a prisoner of war is so high in the al-Hodaydeh operation that it is difficult to keep count of all the Saudi casualties in this operation," Iran Press reported.
Major General Saree added: "Three battalions of the invading Saudi army were completely destroyed, and literally hundreds of military vehicles and armored personnel carriers were captured and taken as war booty by the victorious Yemeni Army."
Saudi Arabia started the war on Yemen in March 2015 in a bid to reinstall a former regime and eliminate the Houthi Ansarullah movement. Four years later, and despite massive purchases of advanced American weaponry, Saudi Arabia and its allies are bogged down. 101/211
