Iran Press/America: Nicolas Maduro added that according to international law, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, is both legally and morally responsible for this breach of the law.
Maduro insists that no judge in the United States can order the expulsion of Venezuelan diplomats from the embassy, Iran Press reported.
He noted that the case would refer to international institutions, arguing "this is a real madness and Caracas condemns it."
US police raided the Venezuelan embassy in Washington on Monday and expelled the remaining Caracas staff in the United States.
This is while, on April 24 Venezuelan diplomats left the embassy in Washington.
Venezuela has been mired in an ongoing political crisis since early January when Juan Guaido was elected the head of the opposition-led National Assembly that all other government branches have been refusing to recognize since 2016.
In mid-January, two days after the Venezuelan Supreme Court annulled his election, Guaido proclaimed himself interim president in defiance of legitimate President Maduro, who was sworn in for a second term on 10 January.
Guaido’s move was immediately recognized by the United States, while Maduro blasted Guaido as a US “puppet” and dismissed the entire situation as a coup attempt staged by Washington. 213
