Iran FM spox warns about referring to unrelated issues regarding JCPOA

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that referring to unrelated points regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will not help to save the agreement.

Iran press/Iran news: Responding to the recent remarks of French President Emanuel Macaron in his meeting with US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said that referring to issues unrelated with JCPOA not only does not help to save the agreement but also eliminates the remaining trust between countrys still committed to JCPOA.

"European signatories of the accord, despite making remarks and issuing statements, have not done any productive action to show their commitments to the agreement. European countries even did not stick to their commitments to guarantee Iran's interests after the US withdrawal from JCPOA," Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman noted according to Iran press.

"The European countries referred to the issues that lead to the disintegration of JCPOA which the US wished for by withdrawing from the agreement," Seyyed Abbas Mousavi concluded. 101/201
