Meybod (IP) - The 1st regional exhibition of Iranian handicrafts is being held in Meybod, the world city of Ziloo which is near Yazd in the center of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: This exhibition aims to promote the handicrafts made in 10 provinces of Iran, including Yazd, Ghazvin, Fars, Khorasan-Razavi, Kerman, and Bushehr, emphasizing on ‘Ziloo’ (a type of hand-woven small carpet) and ‘mat weaving’ handicrafts and is being held for five days from 13 to 17 June 2019 in the city of Meybod, in Yazd province, in central Iran.  

The handicrafts of different cities and provinces, which are nationally and internationally registered, have been put on display at the exhibition, Iran Press reported.

The city of Meybod, 627 km away from Tehran, Iran’s capital, is one of the most beautiful cities of Iran with a rich history and culture. The city boasts 7000 years of history. 101/211/214
