Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Medical Centre for Hajj Pilgrims has emphasized that in 2019, based on official figures, 86500 Iranian Hajj pilgrims along with 550 medical staff will undertake this spiritual journey.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday, Mohammad Taghi Holisaz stressed that even countries which send large numbers of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, such as Indonesia and Turkey, cannot provide their pilgrims with such fast, efficient, readily available,  and high quality medical services as we do.

Speaking on the sideline of a press conference in Tehran, Holisaz added: "Each group of 300 pilgrims will be assigned a trained doctor to offer them medical services, which is very significant in its own right.  Our medical teams are highly skilled and experienced and we have substantial experience in providing Hajj pilgrims with first class medical services. In fact, other countries can follow our lead."

Commenting further, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Medical Centre for Hajj Pilgrims said: "Hajj is a great opportunity for pilgrims to vaccinate and immunize themselves against many diseases such as meningitis and yellow fever, and we give pilgrims a globally-valuable certificate of vaccination."105/211
