Iran and Armenia's top officials call on boosting ties in all mutual potentials.

Iran PressIran News: Attending a press conference at the sideline of 16th Iran-Armenia Joint Trade and Economic Committee meeting held in Tehran on Tuesday, Iranian energy minister Reza Ardakanian, stressed out the importance of Iran-Armenia economic relationship, saying: "Iran and Armenia's relationship is at its high level," Iran Press reported.

"This conference is trying to remove and solve any obstacles also making any effort fruitful," Ardakanian said adding: "We as the officials are responsible to expand the relationship especially economic relation as long as the two sides capacities are much more than this."

"The neighborhood is fundamentally important for the Islamic Republic and sanctions or any other phenomenons cannot impact our relationship with our neighbors," Iranian energy minister said.

"During the recent weeks, the economic agreement between Iran and Eurasia was finalized in Iran's parliament.  We are expecting to use this mechanism to expand our relationship in economic and commercial," Ardakanian stressed.

On his speech, Armenia deputy prime minister Mehr Grigorian said that the sixteen economic energy commission was so beneficial. Significant achievements have been gained in commercial,  tourism, environment, agriculture, transportation, and transit.

"The mutual trust between the two countries guarantees immediate future cooperation. I hope we witness future achievements soon," Grigorian added.

The 16th Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation of Iran and Armenia began its first day on Monday morning and last till Tuesday. 208/104
