Tehran (IP ) - Iranian Interior Minister announced that the main priority for this administration is to provide houses for flood victims.

Iran Press/Iran News: In forth meeting with representatives of executive bureaus and governors of flooded provinces in Rebuilding and Renovation Center on Monday, Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli emphasized that "both in agriculture and housing sector, flood victims are our priorities."

"These people live in a dire condition of plus 50 centigrade hot weather and their properties, homes, and farms are badly damaged and we have no other genuine priority than these people," the minister said.

According to Iran Press, Rahmani Fazli continued that "government bureaus in relief efforts and saving flood victims have acceptable performance and we have no doubt that the main load was on the people's shoulders".

Mentioning the importance of lessening flood damage, especially human lost, Rahmani Fazli added that our efforts were focused on minimizing flood damages and "now we are in the third phase of rebuilding, renovation and recompense."

He maintained that "in hygiene and healthcare, all sectors including Ministry of Health, Welfare Organization and Iranian Red Crescent have done a good job and we face no epidemic diseases in flooded areas".

Iran's interior minister went on that "In some areas, we have surpassed the schedules, for instance, housing foundation has made some positive estimations and temporary residence is provided for 95 percent victims. There are only 200 families who still stay to resolve their situation". 212/ 104
