The 26th edition of the Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition kicked off in Baku with more than 300 companies from 30 countries' contribution.

Iran press/Asia: The 26th Oil & Gas exhibition kicked off in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku on Wednesday. The event is attended by more than 300 companies from 30 countries including one Iranian company.

The Azerbaijani President Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev, Iran's Deputy Petroleum Minister for International Affairs Amir Hossein Zamani Nia together with  Iran’s ambassador to Baku Javad Jahangirzadeh, and officials from different countries were among officials attending in the opening ceremony held in Baku international exhibition centre, Iran Press reported.

More than 300 international oil & gas companies presented state-of-the- art technologies in extraction, transport, productivity and business in oil & gas field in this exhibition.

An Iranian company with some products such as hydrocarbon and base oil has attended in Baku exhibition to reach Azerbaijan market, and also other countries' market in the region specially the commonwealth countries.

"I wished more Iranian private sector companies were to attend in 26th oil and gas exhibition, as there are so many companies in Iran which involve producing oil and gas equipment, also excellent contractors providing technical services in oil and energy fields. I am not happy with this," Zamani Nia said on the sidelines of the opening ceremony.
