Iran's people are marching across the country after the Friday prayer ceremony today to announce their support for Tehran's decision to quit parts of the 2015 nuclear agreement.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Coordination Council for Islamic Propagation has invited the Iranian people to march across the country as a sign of opposition to the unreliability of the United States and its Western allies.

The Council said in a notification that Iranian brave people, with a massive turnout in cities, towns and villages up and down the country, should announce their support for the statement of the Supreme National Security Council, according to the Iran Press news agency.

In line with protecting the security and national interests of the Iranian people, the Supreme National Security Council has ordered a halt to implementation of some parts of commitments of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) according to articles 26 and 36 of the agreement.

According to the decision of the Supreme National Security Council, Iran will no longer commit to the restrictions put on storage of enriched uranium and heavy water under the agreement.

The remaining parties to the nuclear deal have been given 60 days to implement their commitments under the JCPOA, particularly those relating to banking and the oil sector. Failure to do so will prompt the Islamic Republic to stop complying with restrictions on the level of uranium enrichment and the modernization of Arak heavy water reactor, the statement added.

The move came exactly a year to the day US President Donald Trump withdrew America from the accord. 101/213
