Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Spokesman said on Monday Iran from the first day didn't wait just for EU to form INSTEX.

Iran Press/Iran news: Abbas Mousavi in Foreign Ministry weekly press conference said: "Islamic republic of Iran from first day didn't wait for EU to form INSTEX and with some friendly countries like Russia are working on some mechanism for trades.

Mousavi on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Mousavi said that life of JCPOA depends on action and commitment of its signatories, Iran Press reported.

About keeping and continuing of JCPOA just by China and Russia, he said that after US withdrawal from JCPOA, other countries like EU countries vowed observe their commitments, so JCPOA would be continued if all sides did their commitments and obligations.

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman stated that Tehran welcomes descalating of tensions in the Persian Gulf region.

“We welcome descalating of tensions in the region. We do not want rise of tensions,” Abbas Mousavi said.

No more sanctions remain for US to impose on Iran

"US administration has already imposed every kind of sanctions on Iranian individuals and companies and has launched economic terrorism and war against Iran. There is no more type of sanctions that may have been untried by the US,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

"US sanctions against Iran are only part of a propaganda campaign. They have been imposing sanctions against us for 40 years, and we have been resisting to them for 40 years," he added.

Mousavi said: "Let them continue their sanctions, to see what will come up".

Bahrain workshop doomed to falure

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said US Middle East so-called peace plan that is set to be presented at an international conference in Bahrain this week is “shameful” and “doomed to failure”.

This conference and the sale of Palestine will lead nowhere,” Abbas Mousavi said.

Mousavi also criticized Andrew Murrison, Britain’s minister for the Middle East, for his remarks on Sunday after a visit to Tehran.

Murrison in a baseless claim accused Iran for recent attacks on tankers in the Gulf of Oman.

What Murrison said after the meetings was not constructive. It seems Britain is siding with America due to its domestic problems and Brexit crisis,” Mousavi said.

UK to pay Iran's Mellat Bank 1.6 billion damage

Iranian FM Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said the British Deputy Foreign Secretary for the Middle East Andrew Murrison in Tehran finalized a mechanism through which UK government must pay for damages to the Iranian largest private bank.

Mellat Bank filed a suit against UK's Treasury Ministry due to the European country's illegal ban on the financial activities of the Iranian Bank.

London’s High Court issused a verdict in favor of Iran in 2013 and approved that the imposed restrictions on the bank had been illegal.
